Saturday January 13, 2023 four Franklin Central Lady wrestlers participated in the annual IHSGW State Finals.  Savana Garner (98), Jenna Thompson (126), Dayana Myers (138) and Claire Bennet (160) joined the mat with the top wrestlers from the state.  Finishing strong was Thompson with a 4th place finish and Myers with a 6th place finish.  Also participating was Lillian Towne (145/Alternate).

FC Women finish 5th out of 29 teams. Flashes place 11 of 14 wrestlers today. Great Job!! Great effort!!

Franklin Central High School Lady Flashes win their first tournament in program history!!! The Flashes represented our school and our community not only as competitors, but as leaders from our community. We couldn't be more proud. In a very tight team race Franklin Central finished at the top of the race with a criteria decision. 11 of the 15 Flashes placed in their respective weight classes with 2 finalists and multiple top 4 finishes! Next week the Flashes will be back in action in the Purdue Polytech Invite at Howe HIgh School. Results from today's tournament are posted below.
